Find that one toy, that one experience, that your kids and your family will enjoy together.

As a working dad I was always looking for ways to connect with my family  when I got home from work. One of my many attempts at this was to bring home a cool & interesting toy and have the family play with the toy.

However, more times then not this failed. I either played with the toys more then the kids or I would get that one look from wife of wasted money from another one of my silly attempts…

My attempts up to that point were just quick Google searches for toys in order to try something that I might be able to use to connect with my family. 

Why wasn’t my plan working? 

 I reflected on the problem and discovered I never really applied a systems (A Process) to filter out the toys that worked and the ones that didn’t. A process that could get the whole family involved. Even if the toy was a Bust; the family would come together at rate the toy, and move on to the next one.
